would like to announce FOUR puppies born on 11-20-2009. 2 boys and 2 girls.
Sylvie
wasn't due to deliver for another week. When Cissy had her puppies, Sylvie wanted one. Cissy did not want to share.
Sylvie began having all the symptoms of labor the next day. I was concerned and phoned the vet. My vet said yes, she can go
into labor a week early if she wants to. I made an appointment and took her in to be sure she was all right. After arriving
at my vet's, I took her out of the crate to weigh her and the first puppy was coming out! We rushed into an exam
room fast and stayed while all 4 puppies were born. Sylvie was certainly determined to have her puppies! The first week
Cissy kept sneaking out every 2 hours to have a look or sniff at Sylvie's pups and Sylvie barked at her. My guess is she
said no! That woke us up and we came running to find out what the fuss was about. They are normally friends and sleep in our
bed but when they each have puppies they are protective Mothers!
All look black right now except one boy will clear to silver!
The 3 black puppies will turn to blue as they get older. Some Blues stay dark looking, just lighter than black.
Like Navy is to black while others can get very light. At this young age it's impossible to say how dark or light
they will be as adults. All noses are black.
